Will you marry me?

Paul Butler watched Sarah Fiddler's sister Claire get married one day and the next day he proposed in front of everybody to Sarah, on his knee and with a ring hidden in the flowers.

It was lovely - tears flowed from their friends and family and from guests watching.

Sarah said YES!

Congratulations Franziska and Patric

Franziska and Patric got married on the beach at Cape Panwa Hotel and Leonard and Benjamin enjoyed them selves with Nadia the elephant.

They had their friends and family join them in Thailand for their special day. They then took the Panwa Princess on a cruise and arrived back as the sun went down. They had dinner at Panwa House, where fun was had by all and Spirit balloons were lit.

Happy New Year - again!

In the Cape Panwa Hotel we like to celebrate as much as we can so when it was Chinese New Year we had a party around the pool.

There was a great many of traditional Chinese dishes; Roast Duck with peanut, Chinese Suckling Pig, Dim Sum, Chinese sausage and many more treats.

There were Chinese dancers, a Fire juggler, Chinese Fire Crackers and Spirit balloons. We all had a lot of fun welcoming in the Year of the Ox.

Every day is Children's day

In Thailand we are very lucky that Children have a special day for them.

At the Cape Panwa Hotel we had an ice cream free for all the children on the beach.

Not every child was on the beach so we tried to catch them later.  James, Tyson and Isobel Moras all arrived later in the afternoon so we made sure that they got their ice creams later from Varoon who takes care of the pool

They had been to Phi Phi and one of the men on the boat had made them all balloon sculptures.  James did manage to explode his but he still got an ice cream though.
