The ramifications of being in the Year of the Tiger are quite complex but the gist of it all is that after a previous difficult year we will look forward to a better one.
I can quite imagine that we could all think that!
At Cape Panwa Hotel we celebrate no fewer than three new years – Western, Chinese and Thai – and this year was no different.
We were supplied with copious amounts of Chinese delicacies prepared by our beloved Chef Phudon and his team. The swimming pool was decorated with brilliantly coloured Chinese lanterns and tables were decorated with brilliant red sashes.
