Visiting Kantary Bay in Phuket gets more and more enjoyable – and it has all to do with their new Café Kantary (I'm a pudding person). I especially enjoyed watching the Thai Navy ‘exercises’ two months ago whilst sipping a cappuccino and nibbling on a chocolate macaroon.
And last week Café Kantary received yet another improvement – the "popular" type that one often reads about in Thailand - an enlargement! He he
(Ed – Clare, be careful)
The seating area in front of the café has been expanded so there are more chairs to sit on and bask in the sun, read your latest edition of cape+kantary, watch tourists sample the wares of local food carts or barter for gifts or simply watch the local villagers sell their goods.

As for me, I will be leaving Kantary Bay at the end of the week – ‘au revoir’ to all of the staff – and travelling to Kameo House, Rayong, where I can’t wait to try the “Honey Toast” at the Café Kantary there – ooh la laa!
