A question that we are frequently asked is:
"When do the newspapers arrive?”.
In Phuket, we do not receive newspapers until they have been flown in from Bangkok and then distributed, by road.
If you come here with your ‘tablet’ there are a plethora of sites that offer free digital newspapers, possibly enough to get you through your whole vacation – take a look.
The Wireless Internet is free in all common areas throughout the hotel, so you can download your digital newspaper as soon as it is available on line; then relax and read it in your room or on the beach. I suggest that you do not read it in the bath though – or is there a waterproof tablet now?
