Tim decided that he would join the Laguna Fun Run. (Ed. I do wonder how they can connect Fun and Run in the same sentence – it is clearly an error but TIT – ‘This is Thailand’).
Tim thought that the Fun Run might be a
‘Cape Panwa Hotel’ attempt but…
The GM Claude was more than happy for Cape Panwa Hotel to be involved with the event and happily provided Tim with a T-Shirt and a hat for the occasion.
The Fun Run started at 8:00 am. It immediately began to drizzle and the runners covered up and prepared for the worst – that happily never came.
Charlie Quinn from the Australia was the winner in a time of 20 minutes and 34 seconds and Tim was 133rd in a time of 40 minutes and 51 seconds.
Tim got his medal and celebrated with a beer for breakfast – any takers for next year?
