Just Say Yes!

Cape+Kantary is a magazine that you will find in all the Cape and Kantary Properties - . In this edition - (Pages 58-62) there is the article ‘Just Say Yes’ which is about getting married here in Thailand.

The Cape Nidhra, Cape Panwa and Cape Kudu Team also tell us about their experiences when they took care of proposals, weddings and much more at their hotels.

Come rain or shine at Cape Nidhra Hotel – where the rain stopped just before the fireworks were planned to go off and the man got down on one knee.

Prime Proposal spots at CapePanwa Hotel – where the ring was hidden on the tray with fresh coconuts and the bride was so excited that she knocked the whole tray over into sand!!!

An impromptu I do at Cape Kudu Hotel – the man had been planning the proposal for months and then the lady started dreaming and asked the staff to prepare the flowers, the music, the camera… that same day – she said yes!

6 things that you can do if you visit Phuket

Today’s post is by the Universal Traveller - and is about 6  things that you can do if you visit Phuket -

“There is so much to do in Phuket beside partying at Patong Beach. The island offers something for everyone from adventurous activities like zip-lining or quad-biking, to sunset cruise dinner to Muay Thai Boxing and luxurious spa treatments.”

1)     Zip Lining – a popular place is the Flying Hanuman (  – there is one closer to the Cape Panwa Hotel; ask the locals to help you

2)     Half-Day or Full Day Trip to Coral Island – this can be booked from the staff at the Front Desk of the Cape Panwa Hotel (  and the boat trip is only 20 minutes long – please do not participate in activities which damage the environment such as sea walking

3)     ATV tour – book with the travel agent next to the main lobby

4)     Spa Treatment at Sukko Resort & Spa – or visit the Cape Spa just in front of Cape Panwa Hotel -

5)     Catamaran Sunset Cruise – if you don’t like the waves and drinking a cocktail sit on the terrace of Top of the Reef -

6)     Muay Thai Boxing – liaise with the porters because one of them manages the local ring – 10 minutes away or have a private lesson at the hotel in the gardens
