At the tail end of the Chinese New Year Celebrations came the Phuket Old Town Festival.
It was very busy with the local families and we took a group of guests from Cape Panwa Hotel and Kantary Bay.
When we arrived we divided up into small groups and explored.
Tim wandered amongst all the stalls and bought a number of presents for his family – after all it was for Valentine’s Day...
A small group of guests headed straight to Soi Rommanee and the very special atmosphere and bars there. A small group headed for some of the stalls opposite the TAT office for something to eat and the rest us wandered aimlessly – but none of us took the barge trip on the canal – maybe next time?
