Mae Hong Son Loop

Cape+Kantary is a magazine that you will find in all the Cape and Kantary - https://www.capekantaryhotels.com - properties. In every edition, there is always an article that we like to share

In this edition - https://www.capekantaryhotels.com/ckmagazine/Issue14/index.html - (Pages 76 – 80) the article is about the Mae Hong Son Loop – a top ten motorbike route in the world and a veritable rite of passage for motorcycle enthusiasts. Original words by Tom Chard.

“It is an energetic and frantic ride through the jungle to the intersection near the gate to Doi Inthanon National Park”.

The classic loop has a total of 1,864 curves and there are a great number of places that you can stop on the way – Chiang Mai, Pai, Mae Hong Song and Mae Sariang. At each of these places there are a number of things that you may stop and do so this means that the route can take from a couple of days to as much as a week and then you may never wasn’t to leave Thailand again!
